Children are a gift from God! At Highland Park, we are committed to plant God’s Word within the hearts of our kids so that it will take root and grow in them for a lifetime. Regularly, we present the gospel to our kids. We teach them God’s Word every time we meet, and we strive to fill their church experience with plenty of love and fun. Our kids are the church’s future, so we make it our goal to come alongside our parents to grow and mature them into fruit bearing disciples.

Children’s Programs:
Children’s Choir
Our children’s choir performs several times a year, but concentrates especially on the big performance during the Spring time and the Christmas season. Karen, with the help of several other helpers, takes care of the drama and the music that is part of the musical. The final product is always excellent, making the parents and families proud but never forgetting the ultimate goal, to praise God and teach them to go tell others about the love of Jesus.
The choir usually practices during Awana hour in a systematic rotation of age groups and also on Wednesday nights while their parents are in Bible Study. The children’s choir averages between 30-40 kids from ranging in age from 3-12. When major performances are held, we also have the help of the teenagers from our youth group.
