The music ministry of Highland Park First Baptist Church exists solely for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. We strive to lead our church in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that are theologically rich, gospel centered, and edifying its members. We work hard to worship through songs that are culturally relevant while not forsaking the rich heritage of hymns and songs that have been passed on to us by the great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us. We believe that more important than style is the message of what we sing, and to that end we desire to see people of all ages, styles, and backgrounds worshipping the risen Christ in spirit and in truth.

The Highland Park Worship Choir rehearses every Wednesday night at 6:30 in preparation for our Sunday morning service.

The Highland Park Worship Band consists of people of various musical backgrounds leading our congregation with the skills that God has given them.

The Highland Park Keyboard Quartet is Barbara Spencer, Brenda Tyler, Don Spencer, and Pat Estes. They bless our church regularly with special music as well as play regularly in our worship services.

The Highland Park Media Team is a group of volunteers that serve faithfully in the technical aspects of our church. From running the sound system and running our song presentations, to assisting in graphic design and website administration.
