Connect. Grow. Serve.

What’s Next?

After becoming a member of Highland Park, we want you to grow in your relationship with Christ. We encourage you to grow in four ways:

1. Grow together: Every Sunday morning at 9:30 am, our church meets in small groups called Sunday School. Sunday School is where you will connect with other members and share life with one another. Each of our classes is led by a teacher who gives a weekly Bible study. Our classes minister to each class member through prayer, fellowship, accountability, and encouragement. We also offer other opportunities on Sunday and Wednesday nights called “Grow.” for further opportunities for learning and growing.

2. Worship together: Sunday School is followed at 10:50 am by our main Sunday morning worship service. We sing and pray together in each service, but the highlight of our worship service is the preaching of God’s Word. We also worship through obediently giving of our tithes and offerings for missions and ministries.

3. Serve together: A metaphor used to describe the church is the body of Christ (Rom 12:3-8). God has given each of us different gifts that he uses to build up our church. Furthermore, He has given our church all the gifts we need to carry out God’s will for our church’s ministries.

4. Go on mission together: The Great Commission teaches us to be God’s witnesses to our city, state,
country, and throughout the world (Acts 1:8). Efforts like our Love Out Loud Medical Clinic allow us to be a witness to our own community. Also, in recent years, we have taken mission trips throughout our state of Kentucky, Louisiana,
New York, and as far away as the Middle East. In July, members from our church will be going to Haiti.
